It's a lot to stomach, what you have researched.
I throw up when emotionally overwhelmed.

When I was a child in Arkansas irises grew wild everywhere. I remember thinking such extravagance in flowers that don't care about where they are or who sees them. Just beauty for beauty's sake.

Absolutely GORGEOUS irises!
I hope to plant some irises at my own home someday (soon).
Many bearded irises come from rhizomes, while others come from bulbs.
Still a lot for me to learn ... but i think i should just go ahead & plant some ... any kind ... and see what grows ...
