We now know that lipid nano particles used in vaccines, facilitating delivery of an encapsulated product, are capable of crossing the blood brain barrier (BBB.) The breach of this purposeful, protective boundary indiscriminately in otherwise healthy people got me thinking about the potential for a ‘leaky blood brain barrier’ similar to a ‘leaky gut’ syndrome.
WebMD refers to leaky gut as a medical grey area, a theory about symptoms caused by increased permeability of the lining of the digestive tract.
Glyphosate is an environmental contaminant of particular concern regarding its effects on the human digestive tract. The presence of glyphosate residue raises digestive tract pH, altering the natural balance of microbiome beneficials with a cascading effect of harmful overgrowths no longer held in check.
Glyphosate & Resistant Crops.
Introduced in 1974 glyphosate weed killer (one brand is Roundup) is a non-selective, systemic herbicide which works by suppressing protein enzymes in plants that regulate growth, uptake of nutrients from the soil. A broad range of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) crops were subsequently developed specifically as resistant to glyphosate which stunningly, in addition to its use as a weed killer, is also sprayed directly on crops as a desiccant to promote the ripening process. GMO crops resistant to glyphosate developed by Monsanto were termed “Roundup Ready” and became widely planted starting in the 2000’s.
German chemical giant Bayer acquired Monsanto including its liabilities relating to the Roundup product line in 2018. Other major glyphosate manufacturers (some also produce glyphosate resistant GMO seed):

Glyphosate is now found in 80% of urine samples in the United States, residue in many food products.
Flawed Safety Claim?
It was argued that glyphosate was harmless to humans lacking the plant enzyme. The flawed hypothesis failing to consider the gut micro biome of which over half of the beneficials are sensitive to glyphosate the most vulnerable being protective probiotics bifidobacteria and lactobacillus. An imbalance promoting a range of concerning health issues including immune system dysfunction, inflammatory and neurological disorders.

2018 research spanning a 100 year period documents the recent drastic decline in infant gut colonization of bifidobacteria, especially in developed countries concurrent with increases in chronic exposure to glyphosate.
Potential Health Effects.
The linked article describes research, consequences of imbalances. One interesting effect of overgrowth of yeast in the intestinal tract being “auto- brewery syndrome” whereby consumption of sugary foods can result in the body’s internal fermenting of alcohol with symptoms of intoxication.

A 2017 study identified glyphosate as creating an environment conducive to the body’s production, proliferation of a protein zonulin that increases the permeability between cells lining the digestive tract. If zonulin enters the bloodstream it is also capable of increasing the permeability of the blood brain barrier. Shockingly zonulin is also being studied as an adjuvant for vaccines and other drugs.
November 2023, European Union extends use of glyphosate for additional ten years.
Conclusion.
It is astonishing to me that glyphosate products still line shelves at big box retailers considering the broad human and environmental contamination, the documented health impacts including the potential for zonulin induced leaky blood brain barriers.
‘Lies are Unbecoming’ Substack provides a very thorough summarization of the damages inflicted by glyphosate. I was unaware that glyphosate binds minerals in the soil as well resulting in nutritionally deficient crops. I wonder how long the chemical persists in the body, persists in the environment?
Do they really think they can resurrect nature after destroying it as their elaborate seed banking preparations suggest? Part of their ‘Build Back Better’?

Astonishing to all but those intent on harming and killing humanity. The poisoning of the planet has been long in the works. Excellent coverage.
I wonder if for some, the reason carnivore works is because they're no longer eating glyphosphate veggies and their body is able to repair itself.
I'm plant based most of the year but I buy organic. However the organic label is not 100% fool proof.
