prepping for the Pineapple Express rainstorm on Wednesday I noticed some dried up roof rain runoff residue in a plastic rainwater bin.
Our air here is filthy, this amount of particulate is typical. I like to collect the rainwater for the plants because it is soft, the tap water here is loaded with salts that burn tender foliage.
the residue in the plastic bin was uniform (no tiger stripe zebra pattern like in the watering can) so i think the most likely explanation (as per previous post) for the pattern was a harmonic vibration of the metal can creating the sedimentary pattern.
I placed a kitchen magnet near the sediment and a few tiny particles did seem magnetic but most of it was not.

Thanks for sharing your magnet test. It's predicted to rain *a lot* in my region (inland Central Coast of California), so I'm going to run a test too.
Interesting, the geo-engineering goons had sprayed the sky worse than I've ever seen it in our area, for 6 straight days before the rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Now the sky is crystal blue again, like it should be. So the rain washed all of the heavy metals into the ground or streams that will carry it to the Mighty Pacific. Mother Earth is a busy being, constantly having to detox.
Going now to select a rainwater container!
Air quality in Southern Oregon is good.
