My mother taught me that it is our right to question and that we shouldn't feel we have to accept what authority tells us just because it's authority who's telling us ... and it seems strange to me that people feel intimidated by authority in relation to their thought. I might feel intimidated by police questioning me for not wearing a mask but the notion that I'd feel I had to think something simply because authority is telling me I should is alien to me. Sure, I've accepted many, many things from authority but only because it didn't occur to me to question - as soon as it occurs to me to question I will - I mean why wouldn't you? Aren't we supposed to live in a democracy?

What I find strange is how people get all upset when you say you don't accept what authority has told us. It just amazes me. In the case of a few subjects I actually agree with the mainstream narrative but it doesn't upset me if someone challenges it, I'll just either agree to disagree or argue my case.

A few weeks ago as I was taking a walk with a friend of 40 years she told me that if I said another word on whatever subject it was related to so-called "conspiracy" she would walk away from me. I said another word and she walked away. We haven't spoken since. I feel sad but I refuse to be muzzled by my friends. It's bad enough that we're muzzled by the authorities every which way I'm not going to be muzzled by friends too. Especially not with such a crime against humanity as covid ... still happening.

Aw what a wonderful tribute. Roses and orchids may tie for my mom's faves.

My mom did not teach me to question everything; however, I'm blessed that she is still with me so we can learn to do that together. ❤️🙏❤️
